The New Yorker Shouts Out Habibi’s Baby’s All Right Sold Out Show

For their first headlining performance in four years, Habibi performed to a fired up sold-out crowd at Baby’s All Right. Ahead of the show, The New Yorker shout out Habibi’s “Colgate-white glisten of sixties girl-group pop, with [an] uncensored edge of flower-gal liberation” in their “What We’re Listening to this Week” November column.  The profile called the band’s music “what Lana Del Rey has always wanted to sing,” setting a high bar for upcoming EP ‘Cardamom Garden,’ out March 2nd of next year.
